At the age of 16 Tommy found himself with several older boys who were into causing all kinds of trouble in and around Nashville. The older boys decided to rob at convenience store at gun point and the clerk sadly was shot and killed. While Tommy was not the one who pulled the trigger, his finger prints were found on the gun. At the age of 16, Tommy found himself facing 20 years for murder. Tommy spent many years in a prison in Nashville, called the Walls. It has since been closed but during it’s operation housed some of the most dangerous criminals in TN.
